VSPS offers four prestigious awards :
These AWARDS will be given to exemplary and meritorious students to stimulate & encourage healthy competition among them. A composite index carrying due weight on academics, sports and co-curricular activities shall be the qualifying factor for the awards. The AWARDS shall be given at the end of the academic year on the basis of individual indices for the year. The AWARDS shall either carry a cash prize and/or academics or sports related item(s).
The school considers applications for financial support scheme of VSPS, for students unable to bear the cost of education due to financial constraints. Under the scheme, scholarship is awarded for a period of one year to deserving applicants on submission of application along with required documentary evidence and subsequent approval of management. Scholarship generally covers part of the non-accountable School fee.
Any scholarship can be withdrawn or suspended by the Principal, if the recipient is found neglecting studies and breaching school discipline.
Brother - sister concession in monthly fee @ Rs. 200/- p.m. to the second child & Rs. 150/- p.m. to the third child are given to real brothers and sisters (not cousin) studying in the school.
Widows with an annual income of less than Rs. 48,000/- p.a. (application and certificate required) are given a concession in monthly fee @ Rs. 250/- p.m.
VSPS has an aesthetically furnished library with large collection of books. With a view to developing reading habits among the students, the school encourages them to visit library regularly and relevant books and information is made available to them for project work and syllabus related topics.
The school is technology driven with state-of-the-art computer labs with high-speed internet connectivity, projection systems, input-output devices and extensive software support. Students are encouraged to use these for regular curricular work, project work, presentations etc.
The school has also developed an exclusive multi-media and internet lab to offer Net Surfing. The lab is equipped with CD Writer, Scanner, Printer, Desktop publishing, Animation Packages, Recording and Video Mixing facilities. The school has resolved to enhance the internet bandwidth every year.
Biologists recognize that knowledge based upon experimental results and accurate observations is gained through a variety of experiences. Thus, the role of the laboratory and field learning becomes a key component in understanding biology. Every year latest instruments, charts etc. are purchased for labs.
VSPS is proud to have a sophisticated Physics Laboratory with the latest state-of-the art facilities that equip the students to have a hands on experience. The Laboratory reinforces the knowledge acquired in the theory class by emphasizing on the fundamental concepts of physics.
The Lab is provided with the state-of-the art devices like Fume hood, Distillation unit, Electronic weighing machine and the safety devices such as Firefighting equipment, First-Aid Kit etc. The acids and other reactive chemicals are stored in separate cupboards as a further precautionary measure.
Open Air Theater is the most noteworthy feature of school. The theater has a seating capacity of 1500 people. The theater is used frequently for school programs.
The school takes special care of students' interested in various sports and yoga activities. An impressive gym with fully functional workstation takes care of the passion of the new-gen students towards physical fitness.
The air-conditioned seminar hall has world class presentation & other facilities. The hall is frequently used by leading companies to organize dealers' meet, executive get-togethers, conferences, conventions and even cultural programs.
